In-House Technology Lawyer
Location: London
PQE: 2-3 years
Sector: Global trading / financial services
I’m working with a well-established, global organisation to recruit a Technology Lawyer to join their in-house legal team. This role offers broad exposure across technology, IT, IP and compliance matters in a fast-paced, international environment. It’s a strong opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their tech law expertise while developing into a more generalist in-house role.
Key responsibilities include:
*Providing day-to-day advice on IT, technology and IP legal matters.
*Negotiating technology licences, consultancy agreements and wider commercial contracts.
*Supporting the legal aspects of new application development, including GDPR and regulatory considerations.
*Managing relationships with external legal advisers to ensure matters are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.
*Supporting the global compliance framework, including data privacy, sanctions, AML, bribery and corruption and market abuse.
*Building exposure to new areas such as financial crime risk management and specialist contract negotiation.
*Assisting with ad hoc legal matters as required.
Essential requirements:
*2-3 years’ PQE.
*Experience within a corporate or commercial legal team.
*Exposure to technology, IT and IP law.
*Experience negotiating commercial and technology contracts.
