Credit Controller / Debt Collection Specialist
Sheffield (S11) – Free Parking
£26,500 – £29,500 | Full-time | Permanent
Anna Maher Recruitment is working with a well-established and highly respected professional services business based in Sheffield (S11). Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller / Debt Collection Specialist to take ownership of the sales ledger and support effective cash flow management.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys credit control and is confident working autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing the company sales ledger
*Allocating cash accurately
*Setting up and monitoring payment plans
*Chasing outstanding debt and reducing aged balances
*Resolving invoice queries using root cause analysis
*Acting as a point of contact for staff regarding statements and account activity
*Maintaining professional client relationships via phone and email
*Improving debt collection processes to support timely payments
About You
*Proven credit control experience
*CICM qualified or working towards (desirable)
*Sage 50 experience preferred
*Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
*Confident communicator with a positive, proactive approach
*Highly organised with strong self-management skills
