Job Description:
Our Client
We’re delighted to be supporting our client, a fast paced, customer focused contact centre, as they look to recruit a Learning & Development Manager to lead, design, and deliver high impact learning initiatives across the business.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys shaping L\&D strategy while also delivering engaging training sessions for employees and leaders. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional facilitation skills, and a passion for developing people at all levels.
The role
The Learning & Development Manager will:
• Develop and own the organisation’s Learning & Development strategy
• Conduct training needs analyses across teams and roles
• Design blended learning solutions including workshops, coaching, virtual sessions, and e learning
• Build learning frameworks for onboarding, leadership, performance and capability development
• Personally deliver high-quality, engaging training and leadership programmes
• Tailor content and delivery style to suit a variety of audiences and learning needs
• Coach managers to apply learning effectively in the workplace
• Oversee L\&D programmes from concept through delivery, measurement, and evaluation
• Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve learning
• Manage learning budgets and external training suppliers
• Partner with HR and senior leaders on talent development and succession planning
• Promote a strong learning culture across the organisation
• Support the delivery of business communications linked to Quality Service insights
Who we are looking for
• Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management capability
• Confident, credible, and engaging in front of groups
• Practical, commercial mindset with a focus on business outcomes
• Genuine passion for developing people and capability
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects
• Collaborative and approachable style
• Proven experience in a Learning & Development Manager (or similar) role
• Demonstrated experience delivering training, not just designing it
• Experience creating learning programmes for both individual contributors and leaders
Desirable
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Coaching or facilitation certifications
• Experience in change management or organisational development
Benefits
This role offers the chance to take ownership of the full L&D agenda and make a real impact on how learning influences performance, culture, and growth. It’s an excellent opportunity for a skilled facilitator who enjoys both strategy and hands-on delivery. For further info please get in touch with Shona - /
