Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Land Manager to join a well-established independent estate agency’s Land & New Homes team in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, securing, and managing land opportunities for residential development across Hertfordshire & surrounding counties, ensuring profitable outcomes while contributing to the growth of the business.
As a Land Manager, you will be offered:
*Up to £35,000+ basic
*Realistic OTE between £60,000-£70,000
*No weekend work
*Full support from the Land Director
As a Land Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
*Identify and secure new residential development sites.
*Generate business opportunities for the Land & New Homes department.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, vendors, and clients.
*Negotiate sales and agreements effectively.
*Collaborate with the wider agency team to drive business growth.
*Lead and develop the new homes department.
*Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
*Report directly to the Land Director on sales and performance figures.
To be considered for the Land Manager role, you must have:
*Experience in land acquisition and new homes, with a proven track record.
*Knowledge of the Hertfordshire area.
*Understanding of planning law, development costs, and the residential property market.
*Strong negotiation, selling, and interpersonal skills.
*Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*IT literate and confident in reporting and data management.
*Full UK driving licence essential.
