Are you a technically minded engineer with a passion for problem-solving and customer service? Our client are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Service Department, supporting a leading global provider of food production technology.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialist equipment, ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
What you’ll be doing
*Service and install a wide range of food production equipment (including slicers, mincers, packaging systems, and associated software).
*Carry out repairs on retail scales and investigate electrical, mechanical, and network-related issues.
*Deliver customer training on equipment use and best practice.
*Manage and maintain effective stock levels of spare parts.
*Ensure company vehicle, tools, and equipment are kept in excellent condition.
*Complete all required administration, reports, and compliance documentation to a high standard.
*Attend training courses and maintain up-to-date Health & Safety qualifications.
*Participate in out-of-hours work and occasional overnight stays when required.
*Support rollout and refit activities in line with business needs.

*Confidence to contribute ideas, remain calm under pressure, and assert yourself positively.
*Willingness to travel across the UK and work outside standard hours when needed.
*Full, valid UK driving licence.
