Job Description:
Reed Recruitment are recruiting a Maintenance Operative to support a local school in Belfast on a temporary basis.
This role involves general upkeep of the school grounds and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks.
You will always work under the supervision of an on-site Facilities Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintain tidy and safe school grounds, including clearing leaves and debris
*Assist in setting up assembly halls and school spaces for events
*Support general maintenance and light cleaning duties as required
*Follow direction from the on-site supervisor and always work safely
*Ensure school policies regarding health, safety, and safeguarding are adhered to
Requirements
*Previous maintenance, caretaking, or groundskeeping experience desirable
*Ability to carry out physical tasks and work outdoors when required
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
*Good communication skills
Safeguarding / Compliance
*Enhanced Access NI Certificate: Ideally candidates will already hold one.
*If not, an Enhanced Access NI check must be completed via REED before starting.
