About the Company
Our client is a fast-paced commercial business based in Bromley. Due to increased workload within the finance department, they are seeking an experienced Temporary Credit Controller to support the team and ensure cashflow remains smooth and efficient throughout a busy period.
The Role
As a Temporary Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the debtor ledger, chasing overdue payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You’ll play a key role in supporting the finance team’s credit and collections function during this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
*Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
*Managing and monitoring the aged debt report
*Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries efficiently
*Building strong relationships with customers to encourage timely payment
*Liaising with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
*Preparing reports for management when required
About You
*Previous experience in credit control or collections
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Confident managing a busy workload and meeting targets
*Good Excel skills and experience with finance/ERP systems
*Proactive, organised, and able to hit the ground running
