Job Description:
Waste Management Operative
*Job Type: Full-time
*Location: Rotherham
*Hourly Rate: £13.05 PAYE
Join our team as a Waste Management Operative and make a significant impact in your community. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and contributing positively to the environment and local area.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Collect waste and recycling from domestic and commercial properties.
*Empty litter bins and clear areas of litter.
*Report environmental issues such as fly tipping and potholes.
*Assist with the delivery and maintenance of containers and ensure vehicle safety.
*Support street cleaning operations to maintain community cleanliness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
*Awareness of health and safety regulations.
*Experience in working towards operational targets.
*No specific educational qualifications required; all necessary training will be provided.
Benefits:

*Uniform and protective gear supplied.
*Opportunity to work up to 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
*Potential additional work available on Saturdays.
