Job Description:
Robert Half Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a highly successful, market-leading organisation in the Caerphilly area to recruit a permanent Group Accountant.
This is a pivotal role for a technically-minded finance professional who enjoys managing complex data systems and providing high-level financial insights directly to the executive leadership team.
The Role
As the Group Accountant, you will lead the full group budget process and act as the primary owner for key financial systems. You will be responsible for consolidating data across multiple platforms to provide a clear picture of the Group’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
*Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the full Group budget process; update periodic forecasts and prepare comprehensive reporting packs for the CEO and CFO.
*Financial Reporting: Produce Group-level P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Issue and maintain board reporting templates for divisional MDs and Finance Partners.
*System Ownership: development of the reporting and analysis systems for the group
*Data Management: Consolidate and interrogate financial data from multiple systems; develop and maintain Microsoft Access databases to ensure data integrity
*Compliance: Manage tax payment submissions every six months.
*Strategic Analysis: Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making and issue all management reporting.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong technical systems skills and a background in complex consolidations.
On offer a salary package of to £65,000 plus benefits. Hybrid working.
