Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Reading
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)

An exciting role has opened in Reading for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. You’ll be working alongside an experienced ground investigation team on a wide range of projects across infrastructure, residential, commercial, and renewable sectors.

The role will include:
* Supervising ground investigations and managing site activities

* Reviewing laboratory and in-situ testing data

* Producing geotechnical reports, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations

* Supporting geotechnical design and ground risk assessments

* Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams

About you:
* Degree qualified in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline

* Previous experience in geotechnical or ground investigation work

* Strong understanding of UK ground investigation practices

* Confident working both on site and in an office environment

* Full UK driving licence
