Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a Freight Forwarder. The role will be working in a small busy Accounts department. The role is based in the Thorpe, Surrey area.
Key Responsibilities:-
*Processing day-to-day transactions.
*Customer Accounts reconciliations.
*Credit Control - reconciling customer accounts and chasing for payment.
*Production of customer statements on a monthly basis and reminder letters, when required.
*Supplier Accounts reconciliations.
*Process supplier payments and any refunds.
*VAT Returns
*Inputting company expenses
Skills required:-
*Purchase Ledger
*Attention to detail
*General maths skills
*Full Accounting skills
*Experience in accounting software
*Time management and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
*Confidentiality and trustworthiness
*Data entry management
*Excellent communication skills
*Freight experience preferred
*Boxtop experience preferred
Working Hours are 9am-5:30pm (May consider reduced hours)
