Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced TechnicalEstimator to join their commercial team and take ownership of cost planning across their core product range.
This is an excellent opportunity for an estimating professional with a background in HVAC or mechanical services who’s seeking stability, variety, and long-term career development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role
As Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of HVAC products. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and project delivery teams, you’ll ensure each proposal is commercially robust and aligned with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
*Producing detailed cost estimates from technical drawings and project specifications
*Collaborating with engineers and key stakeholders to confirm scope and technical requirements
*Reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating supplier and subcontractor quotations
*Preparing clear cost breakdowns for materials, labour, and relevant overheads
*Supporting contract reviews, project handovers, and change-order negotiations
*Maintaining accurate bid, estimate, and proposal documentation
*Ensuring all outputs meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practice
About You
We’re looking for someone who can bring a mix of technical understanding, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills.

You will ideally have:
*Proven experience in estimating within HVAC, mechanical services, or building services
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse complex technical information
*Confident use of Excel and project management tools; estimating software experience is advantageous
*The ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously within tight deadlines
*Engineering or construction-related qualifications (preferred but not essential with solid experience)
