Due to continued growth, my client is now looking to appoint an experienced Senior preplanner to join their technical team. The role – Senior Preplanner
As a Senior preplanner, you will play a key role in supporting advisers by delivering accurate, compliant and high-quality technical work:
*Carrying out comprehensive financial and investment research within agreed SLAs
*Preparing bespoke investment and suitability reports using approved research tools
*Analysing existing investment portfolios and benchmarking performance and suitability
*Producing complex financial planning reports across multiple advice areas
*Preparing and interpreting transfer analysis and complex planning information
*Researching and reviewing new and existing legislation, technical updates and products
*Contributing to internal research projects where required
*Referring complex cases to senior colleagues when appropriate
What my client is looking for in a Senior Preplanner
The ideal Senior preplanner will be able to demonstrate:
*Diploma in Financial Planning
*Strong paraplanning experience within an IFA environment
*Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
*A high level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
*Confidence providing constructive technical feedback to advisers
*Strong Microsoft Office capability
*A genuine interest in technical financial planning and ongoing development
Key Risk & Technical Responsibilities
*Completing all assigned work accurately and within agreed SLAs
*Delivering thorough research, calculations, New Business Investment Reports and FPRs
*Supporting the technical and regulatory development of advisers and staff
*Assisting with the development of Trainee Advice Technicians on a case-by-case basis
*Escalating complex or high-risk matters to senior team members where required
