Job Description:
700 Club is a housing and homelessness charity based in Darlington, and we are looking for an experienced Fundraising Lead to join our team.
In this role, you will implement innovative fundraising strategies aimed at maximising income across a variety of funding streams.
You will build and nurture strong relationships with prospective funders, corporate partners, local businesses, and major donors to secure sustainable financial support for our work.
The position also includes overseeing the collection and timely submission of data and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
Working closely with the Corporate Team, you will help increase the organisation’s visibility and reach by leading the development and management of our website and social media platforms. You will create engaging, impactful content to connect with the public, commercial funders, and key stakeholders.
Previous fundraising experience is essential.
Responsibilities
*Ensure flexibility in managing workload to guarantee that all monitoring reports and funding returns are accurately prepared and submitted ahead of deadlines.
*Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, major donors, and individual supporters to enhance long-term engagement and income generation.
*Proactively build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community partners to enhance visibility and engagement.
*Monitor fundraising performance and evaluate outcomes to optimise return on investment and it’s impact.
*Collaborate with the Corporate Team to plan and deliver impactful social media activity that promotes campaigns, events, and service outcomes, effectively connecting audiences with the organisation’s mission.
*In partnership with the CEO, lead the development and execution of the charity’s communications strategy across all channels including website, print, media, email, and social platforms, creating engaging and purposeful content such as case studies, press releases and social media posts to inspire public interest and stakeholder support.
*Maintain the management and growth of the organisation’s website, ensuring content remains up-to-date, accessible, and aligned with brand messaging.
*Ensure consistency in branding and professionalism across all communications materials and platforms.
*Represent the organisation at external events, networking opportunities, and community functions when required.
