Finance Administrator - Insurance- Tadcaster – Circa £29K
Salary: £29,000 (flexible DOE)
Hours: Full-time or part-time considered
Location: Office-based, Tadcaster
Start: ASAP – permanent hire (temporary start considered for candidates with insurance & Acturis experience)
About the Role
We are working with a growing insurance company who are looking for a proactive Finance Administrator to support the smooth running of finance operations. This is a key role requiring strong customer service skills, accuracy, and the ability to work confidently.
You’ll join a friendly team in a supportive office environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Process payments and refunds accurately and efficiently
*Reconcile bank accounts and ledgers
*Facilitate premium finance loans and chase overdue payments
*Prepare reports and financial information for management
*Support external audits and maintain compliant records
*Identify vulnerable customers and handle queries professionally
*Ensure all activity complies with FCA regulations and company procedures
*Maintain high customer service standards and strong attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*Accounts experience is essential
*Strong accuracy, organisation, and customer service skills
*Ability to prioritise workload and build effective relationships
*Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
*Experience with the insurance industry advantageous
*Ability to pass pre-employment checks (criminal & credit)
*Professional, conscientious, and motivated
