Job Description:
We are recruiting an Assistant Head of School on behalf of a specialist education provider in Manchester. This permanent role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader or senior practitioner to support the day-to-day leadership and development of a nurturing school setting.
Working closely with the Head of School, you will help drive high standards of teaching and learning, positive behaviour and attendance, effective safeguarding, and a strong, inclusive school culture.
Key Responsibilities: * Support delivery of the School Improvement Plan
* Monitor teaching and learning and provide staff feedback
* Support behaviour, attendance and pastoral systems
* Assist with staff deployment, induction and development
* Build positive relationships with parents and external agencies
* Act as DDSL if trained/appointed and support safeguarding practice
The Ideal Candidate: * Experience in a leadership or senior role within education
* Strong knowledge of behaviour management and safeguarding
* Confident, calm and approachable leadership style
* SEND experience desirable
