We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support to join a education establishment in Bromley. This role is essential in providing key support to our learning environments, ensuring that all students receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Learning Support Assistant
Hourly Rate: £15.55 PAYE or £19 per hour on Umbrella
Location: Bromley
Job Type: Temporary
Hours per Week: 35 (Note: Lunch breaks are unpaid)
Contract End Date: 03/07/2026
We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support to join an education establishment in Bromley.
This role is essential in providing key support to our learning environments, ensuring that all students receive the assistance they need to succeed.
Day-to-day of the Learning Support Assistant role:
*Provide learning support to students across various settings within the campus.
*Assist in the preparation of learning materials and environments.
*Work closely with teaching staff to implement educational programs and support strategies.
*Monitor and support student progress and participation.
*Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Learning Support Assistant role:
*Experience in a learning support or educational assistant role is preferred.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and supporting students’ educational needs.
*Flexibility to adapt to varying educational settings and student needs.
What you need for the Learning Support Assistant role:
*Maths and English GCSE or functional skills
*Experience working with students who have experience with SEND needs
*Ideally able to support in the different subject areas including Electrical, brickwork, health and social care and maths.
*DBS on the update service or within the last 3 years
