Job Description:
Production Accountant - Theatre
One of the world’s leading producers of live large-scale theatrical entertainment, having staged shows both in the UK and in over forty countries are looking for a Production Accountant to join the London base Finance team.
The Production Accountant will work on multiple productions, and so the ability to manage your time and prioritise tasks calmly and effectively is essential. Experience in theatre/commercial musicals would be a great advantage and experience in accounting functions up to Trial Balance level is also essential.
Main responsibilities:
Responsibilities involve the practical duties of business bookkeeping which includes:
*Co-ordinating/checking but not processing weekly payroll.
*Weekly Sales Ledger
*Weekly Bank Reconciliations
*Petty Cash & Credit Card Reconciliations
*Preparation of Royalty Statements
*Maintaining PAYE/Pension Reconciliations.
*Preparation of Weekly Accounts
*Preparation of Quarterly VAT Returns
Skills and attributes:
*Must be a good team worker
*Ability to maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
*Sage Line 50 accounting experience will be essential
*Strong Excel skills are beneficial.
