Job Description:
The Finance Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the accounting and finance department within a fast-paced environment.

Description
* *Receiving a weekly sales report, checking and creating subsequent invoices
*Moving stock on accounting system to reflect physical movements
*Creating Invoices for other multiple customers
*Allocation of customer payments
*Producing a weekly debtors report
*Chasing any outstanding debt
*Establishing root cause why customers are not paying (i.e. shortage on delivery, invoice not uploaded etc)
*Working closely with sales agent/fellow team members to investigate non-payment by customers
*Creating export invoices on an ad hoc basis
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
*A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
*Proficiency in financial software and tools.
*An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
*Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
*Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
