We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to lead and govern large-scale on-premises to AWS migration programs. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end architecture, ensure enterprise tools and platforms integrate seamlessly into the target AWS environment, and provide strong oversight on risk mitigation, cost optimization, delivery timelines, and technical quality. This is a strategic role requiring deep technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, security, compliance, infrastructure, and business teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
*18–22+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, including 4–6+ years in AWS cloud architecture.
*Proven hands-on experience designing and governing complex cloud migration programs.
*Strong knowledge across:
*AWS compute, storage, networking, VPC design, IAM, KMS
*Containers & serverless (ECS, EKS, Lambda)
*Databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, migration tooling like DMS)
*Landing zone / multi-account design (Control Tower, Organizations)
*Security architecture, compliance, encryption, and zero-trust principles
Enterprise Architecture & Governance
*Expertise in TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent frameworks.
*Ability to develop architecture roadmaps, standards, principles, and reusable patterns.
Leadership & Delivery
*Strong delivery governance experience for complex multi-phase migration programs.
*Ability to influence engineering teams, resolve architecture disputes, and guide decision-making.
*Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications
*AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (highly preferred)
*AWS Certified Security / DevOps Engineer certifications
*Experience with hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud, and on-prem infrastructure modernization
*Experience working with FinOps teams on cloud cost governance
