Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Labourer / Trainee Engineer. This hybrid role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience while developing technical skills and progressing toward an engineering-focused career path. Full training and mentorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
General Labour Duties
*Assist with daily site or workshop tasks, including material handling, equipment setup, and general housekeeping.
*Operate basic tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
*Support skilled workers and engineers with manual tasks as required.
*Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Trainee Engineer Duties
*Work alongside engineers to learn diagnostic, repair, installation, or production processes.
*Participate in equipment inspections, maintenance routines, and troubleshooting.
*Assist in collecting data, recording measurements, and updating documentation.
*Support the development and improvement of operational procedures.
*Take part in training programs to build technical knowledge and practical engineering skills.
Requirements
*Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
*Ability to perform physical tasks and work in a hands-on environment.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*Basic understanding of tools, machinery, or mechanical processes (preferred but not essential).
*GCSEs or equivalent; technical qualifications are a plus.
