Teaching Assistant
Location: Brent, London
Contract Type: Full-time (term-time only)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities * Support students in the classroom, individually and in small groups
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
* Support students with additional learning needs (SEND, EAL, or behavioural needs where required)
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
* Support pupils’ academic progress and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have * Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A genuine interest in education and supporting student success
* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
