I’m recruiting for a Senior Customer Account Representative to join a leading aerospace and advanced engineering manufacturer supporting some of the world’s most recognisable customers. This is a highly proactive, strategic account management role — not an order book management position — suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys working at pace where no two days are the same.

Senior Customer Account Representative
Job Description
• Manage a portfolio of 4–5 complex aerospace customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact
• Take a strategic, proactive approach to account management, supporting profitability and on-time delivery performance
• Lead pricing, quotations, and commercial coordination for high-value bids, including £1m+ approvals
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Trade Compliance to resolve issues and meet customer commitments
• Operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, influencing stakeholders and driving outcomes

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
• Experience in strategic customer account management within aerospace, defence, or a regulated manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to manage complex, high-value customer relationships
• Comfortable working under pressure in a demanding role with changing priorities
• Strong commercial awareness, including exposure to pricing, forecasting, or bid activity
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
