With offices across the UK, including Fleet, Hampshire, the company works with a diverse range of public and private sector clients, delivering successful outcomes on development and infrastructure projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic CAD Technician to join their expanding Design Team.
CAD Technician Position Overview
*Assist with the design and implementation of highway and infrastructure schemes through feasibility, design, and construction stages
*Prepare designs, drawings, schedules, and cost estimates to relevant standards
*Liaise with utility providers and gain technical approvals from Local Highway Authorities
*Develop effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and service providers
*Complete assigned tasks to meet budget and programme requirements
*Support senior engineers with monthly programme and financial reporting
*Contribute to the delivery of highway improvement schemes, new roads, and streetscape projects
CAD Technician Position Requirements
*Proven experience in a consultancy environment, delivering highway design projects
*Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
*Working knowledge or understanding of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG desirable
*Strong numerical and analytical skills
*Confident written and verbal communication abilities
*Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
*Self-motivated and capable of managing own workload
*Professional and approachable manner with clients and colleagues
*Full UK driving licence
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
