Job Description:
Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking an experienced Trainee Machine Operator - Extrusion - Plastics to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the extrusion process, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and product quality.
Responsibilities *Operate extrusion machinery to produce plastic products according to specifications.
*Monitor the production process to ensure quality and consistency of the output.
*Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
*Troubleshoot issues that arise during the extrusion process and make necessary adjustments.
*Maintain accurate production records and document any changes or issues during production.
*Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
*Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and output.
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Machine Operator, particularly in extrusion or plastic manufacturing.
*Strong understanding of extrusion processes and machinery.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality products.
*Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and perform basic maintenance.
*Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
*Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
*Willingness to work shifts as required by production demands.
