Why this role exists
The practice is growing rapidly. With that growth comes complexity: more people, more workstreams, more locations, and more need for someone who can bring clarity to the chaos. This role sits at the crossroads of people, data and delivery.

*Build deep relationships with Partners, Counsel, Associates, Trainees and Paralegals
*Understand individual capacities, skill sets and career aspirations to ensure the right work goes to the right people

*Play a key role in organising events, including the annual Away Day attended by c.350 people
*Champion sub-team initiatives and contribute to wider people projects
Data, Insight & Continuous Improvement
*Produce weekly utilisation and projected capacity reports
*Compare forecasted vs actual utilisation, helping leaders course-correct
*Support the rollout and enhancement of a new resource management tool, embedding best practice across the function
About you
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
*Experience in resource/work allocation within legal, professional services or corporate environments
*Strong commercial judgement and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
*A calm, structured approach when facing competing demands and complex people dynamics
*Confidence influencing senior leaders and shaping decisions
*Proficiency in Excel; experience with resource management systems is beneficial
*A professional background in law or legal operations is desirable, but not essential
What’s on offer
*Flexible hybrid working
*Generous bonus scheme
