Project Manager – Factory Relocation & Fit-Out (10-Month FTC)

A well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation is undertaking a full relocation of its production and office operations. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a factory move, including coordination of specialist contractors and oversight of the full fit-out of a new facility.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead project planning for the relocation of production, workshop, and office environments.
*Supervise the main contractor delivering the detailed design, construction and fit-out works.
*Coordinate specialist suppliers involved in machinery movement, precision equipment handling, transport and installation.
*Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and reporting.
*Engage with senior stakeholders to maintain operational continuity during the transition.
*Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
*Proven experience in factory relocation, plant moves, or industrial facility transition projects.
*Practical exposure to machinery movement and precision equipment logistics.
*Confident in supervising contractors and managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
*Strong planning, communication, and stakeholder-management abilities.
*Ability to deliver to tight project deadlines.
*Availability from late February for the full contract duration.
Salary & Terms
*£72,000 per annum pro-rata, dependent on experience. Negotiable DOE
*Monthly pay schedule.
*Full-time, 10-month fixed-term contract.
