The Role
*Lead all purchasing, warehousing and transport functions across UK locations, ensuring seamless, cost-efficient supply chain performance.
*Develop and implement purchasing policies, supplier strategies, and performance frameworks to optimise cost, quality, and delivery.
*Manage supplier selection, negotiations, contracting and compliance, including quality, regulatory and ethical standards.
*Oversee inventory management, stock levels, lead times and logistics to support production and customer requirements.
*Provide support with production planning to ensure both customer lead times are achieved and inventory is controlled

The Person:
*Experienced supply chain professional with strong background in procurement, supplier management and operational leadership.
*Skilled negotiator with excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail and financial acumen.
*Strong understanding of procurement legislation, contract management and MRP/ERP planning systems.
*Credible leader with the ability to motivate teams, influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
