Location: Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + Pension + Benefits
Days Based - Monday to Friday

My client is a global leading manufacturer of turnkey machinery solutions to a wide variety of fast moving manufacturing industries. They have sites worldwide with over 35 years of market experience. With a growing presence globally, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within a variety of food and packaging machinery solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to strategic business plans within the British market, they have the need to recruit an experienced production manager.
Key Skills
*Experience as a Production Supervisor/Manager
*Mechanical Assembly Experience or Similar Processes
*IOSH & Budgetary Control within a Management Role
The Role
You will be responsible for 27 people on the shop floor – mechanical assembly, fabrication and electrical teams. Production Manager needs to oversee planning, projects, production etc. to make sure we hit delivery deadlines to customers. The role reports into a Manufacturing Manager. They are looking for someone who has worked their way up the ranks
*Managing planning, scheduling and production to ensure on time delivery of all customer orders
*Daily management of the Production Team
*Ensuring product quality is to the required standard
*Ensure effective collaboration between relevant departments including Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance and Sales.
*Continuously improve processes using 5s and Lean Manufacturing techniques
*Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are adhered
