IT Support Technician
ROMFORD (Onsite)
Initially up to 2 months
£175-200/day Umbrella
Are you passionate about technology and providing exceptional support? We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our client’s dynamic team and deliver high-quality technical assistance across the clients of five sites.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
*Provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
*Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and peripherals.
*Manage and respond to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
System Maintenance
*Perform regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, backups, and system monitoring.
*Assist in maintaining the asset register.
User Support
*Deliver IT support to end-users across all five schools.
*Document and share common technical issues and solutions for future reference.
Networking
*Demonstrate strong knowledge of networking systems and services (DHCP, GPOs, DNS, Active Directory, Print Management, Hyper-V, Virtualisation).
*Troubleshoot internet connectivity issues on end-user devices.
Personal Attributes
*Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
*Self-motivated with initiative and a proactive approach.
*Personable with a good sense of humour.
*A positive and constructive team player.
