Job Description:
Accounts Technician Location: Brighton & Hove area
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000
ProTalent is proud to be working with a highly regarded independent accountancy practice in the Brighton & Hove area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, close-knit team and work with a varied and interesting client base. The role offers excellent exposure across accounts, tax and advisory work, making it ideal for someone looking to strengthen their all-round skills in practice.
The role includes:
* Year-end accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
* Bookkeeping and VAT returns
* Personal and corporation tax compliance
* Assisting with client queries and advisory projects
* Building meaningful relationships with a loyal client base
The successful applicant:
* AAT qualified / studying AAT / or qualified by experience
* Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
* Comfortable using cloud-based software (Xero experience beneficial)
* Positive, proactive, and keen to develop professionally
