Description
*Manage and maintain the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure prompt payments.
*Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.
*Prepare and issue statements, invoices, and credit notes as required.
*Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams to facilitate efficient processes.
*Support the preparation of financial reports related to credit control activities.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
*Assist with ad-hoc tasks within the accounting and finance department as needed.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Proven experience in credit control or a related accounting and finance role.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving discrepancies.
