Looking to start or progress your payroll career? Join a busy Payroll Bureau in Canterbury as a Payroll Analyst, supporting diverse clients while training towards a fully funded CIPP qualification.
Payroll Analyst
Canterbury, Kent, C1
*Full time, permanent position (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm)
*£21,000 - £25,000 per annum (Starting salary with 6-monthly reviews during training)

Our client’s Payroll Bureau is a busy part of the Firm, delivering flexible and fully compliant payroll solutions to a range of clients. The bureau is known for its personal approach, working closely with clients as an extension of their in-house payroll teams and building long-term, trusted relationships.
The Role
The Payroll Analyst will join a supportive and experienced payroll team, gaining hands-on exposure to end-to-end payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing payrolls accurately and efficiently for a varied client base
*Handling confidential client and employee payroll data
*Liaising directly with HM Revenue & Customs
*Supporting clients with payroll queries and integrations
*Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and statutory deadlines
*Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports
*Working collaboratively within a busy Payroll Bureau environment
The Ideal Candidate
This exciting opportunity would suit a motivated and detail-focused individual looking to build a long-term career within payroll and professional services. You will need:
*A minimum of 120 UCAS points (or equivalent)
*Strong communication skills at all levels
*A high standard of written and spoken English
*Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
