Job Description:
We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive well-established business based in the Southampton area.
The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £40,000, with working hours of: Monday to Friday, typical hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Benefits:
*Basic salary of up to £40,000, higher basic of more skilled candidates
*Working Monday to Friday, typical hours from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
*Access to fully equipped workshop facilities, including pits, welders, lifters, and all necessary tools
*Opportunity to work with major vehicle brands such as Volvo, Scania, and DAF
*Breakdown call-out overtime opportunities with van

Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:
*Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
*Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
*Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
*Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements:
*Previous working experience within the role
*Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
*Excellent mechanical knowledge
*A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
