Job Description:
Employment Lawyer (4–6 PQE)
*Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
*Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Join a leading national law firm as an Employment Lawyer (4–6 PQE), where you will be part of a highly respected team known for delivering clear, commercially focused advice. This role offers a supportive culture and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of employer clients across various sectors including tech, manufacturing, and financial services.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide general employment advisory services to a variety of sectors.
*Draft contracts, policies, and agreements tailored to client needs.
*Handle TUPE, redundancy, and restructuring cases.
*Represent clients in Tribunal and High Court litigation.
*Support corporate and transactional matters.
*Manage Employee Relations matters such as grievances, whistleblowing, and family-friendly issues.
*Offer advice on trade union and industrial relations.
*Conduct workplace investigations and ensure compliance with data protection laws, including DSARs.
*Develop and deliver client training programs and contribute to business development efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor with 4–6 years post-qualification experience.
*Strong background in employment law gained from a reputable firm.
*Excellent skills in drafting, communication, and client handling.
*Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially aware.
*Confident in working collaboratively within a busy team environment.
