Job Description:
Butler Rose is recruiting a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to support improved financial results and operational effectiveness. Partnering closely with senior leaders, this role will provide robust financial insight, constructive challenge, and strategic input across planning, performance management, and transformation activity.
Key responsibilities *Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring outputs are accurate, resilient, and decision-focused.
*Promote a continuous improvement mindset by tracking, analysing, and advising on key operational and site-wide initiatives.
*Actively support and challenge labour and overhead cost management through a disciplined monthly review cycle.
*Take ownership of financial input into capital investment planning, working with multiple stakeholders and overseeing forecast quality and investment reviews before and after implementation.
*Manage and forecast cash flow and working capital, providing timely and meaningful financial insight.
*Review, challenge, and support product costing processes, including the maintenance of costing standards.
*Provide financial leadership across business change, integration, and transformation projects.
*Produce ad-hoc financial analysis to support commercial decision-making and operational performance improvements.
*Develop strong, credible relationships across functions, acting as a trusted finance partner.
About you *Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Experience within a manufacturing and/or FMCG environment.
*Proven experience leading or driving business improvement initiatives.
*Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
