Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join the team in Penryn. This is a fantastic daytime-only role with a great work-life balance.
What you’ll do:
*Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen (including lone working)
*Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed
*Complete correct labelling and day-dotting
*Follow all allergen-control procedures
*Meet with environmental health inspectors when required
*Supervise and support the Kitchen Porter
*Adhere to lone-working procedures when working independently
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience as a head chef (Ideal)
*Strong understanding of food safety, allergens, and kitchen compliance
*Previous experience of completing audits and EHO visits
*A reliable, organised chef with a positive attitude
