What You’ll Be Doing
*Oversee the complete financial cycle including budgeting, forecasting, annual accounts and external audits
*Lead and develop the finance team
*Ensure regulatory compliance with ESFA, DfE, and charity accounting requirements
*Monitor school financial performance, business partner with budget holders and present strategic and financial reports
*Manage cash flow, VAT returns and relationships with banks and financial suppliers
*Implement robust financial controls and compliance


What We’re Looking For
*Qualified accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent)
*Substantial financial management experience gained in education, ideally at a multi-academy trust.
*Experience producing financial statements and managing external audits
*Exceptional communication skills with ability to support budget holders and translate complex financial information
