Reed Education are looking for a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to support a specialist school in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in care, support work, or working with children, who is passionate about helping young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
*Assist with behaviour regulation and emotional support
*Work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging learning activities
*Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
*Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience in care, support work, or working with children
*Patience, empathy and strong communication skills
*Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
*Reliability and a proactive attitude
*Ability to commit to a full-time role
