Responsibilities *Drive HGV 2 vehicles for long-distance deliveries across various locations.
*Ensure timely and safe transport of cargo while adhering to all transport regulations.
*Perform pre-journey vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
*Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain records as required.
*Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers about delivery schedules.
*Support loading and unloading of goods as needed, maintaining safety protocols.
*Adhere to strict health and safety practices, checking loads and vehicle are secure.
Requirements
*Valid HGV 2 driving license (Class 2).
*Demonstrated experience as an HGV 2 Driver, particularly in a long-distance driving role.
*Strong understanding of driving laws, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.
*Exceptional driving record with a focus on safety and compliance.
*Ability to meet tight schedules and maintain high levels of accuracy.
*Strong communication abilities and a customer-focused approach.
*Flexibility and willingness to transition from a temporary to a permanent role.
