BRB Recruit is recruiting Leaving Care Support Workers and Team Leaders to support young people transitioning from care to independent living in Preston. These roles are ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about providing consistent, trauma-informed support to care-experienced young people.
The Role*Supporting young people aged 16–25 leaving care
*Promoting independence, life skills, and emotional wellbeing
*Supporting with housing, education, employment, and daily living
*Maintaining accurate records and working in line with care plans
*Acting as a positive role model and providing stability
*Team Leaders will also support staff supervision and shift leadership
Requirements*Relevant experience supporting care-experienced young people or within children’s residential / supported living services
*Level 3 qualification relevant to Children & Young People / Health & Social Care (essential)
*Strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
*Ability to work a 1 on / 2 off shift pattern
*A committed, reliable, and person-centred approach
