Reed Accountancy are recruiting experienced, motivated, and detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerks to join a busy, high-performing finance team.


This full-time, ongoing temporary role is ideal for someone confident working at pace, managing high volumes, and making an immediate impact in a dynamic, target-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Process high-volume invoices with speed and accuracy, ensuring all financial data is complete and reliable for month-end and reporting.
*Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, identifying and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
*Prioritise and manage all supplier and invoice queries, ensuring timely, professional communication and fast resolution.
*Reconcile supplier statements and proactively chase missing invoices, credit notes, and supporting documents.
*Ensure all supplier payments are made accurately and on time, helping maintain strong supplier relationships and smooth cashflow.
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous purchase ledger experience is essential
*Excellent numerical skills and strong attention to detail
*Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Highly organised, methodical approach to workload management
