Job Description:
Reed Accountancy are seeking motivated, experienced and detail orientated Purchase Ledger Clerks to join a thriving finance department. Working full-time on an ongoing temporary basis.


This role is perfect for someone who can handle a high-volume workload and is ready to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Process high-volume invoices quickly and accurately, ensuring all data is recorded correctly for reporting and month-end.
*Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies promptly.
*Manage and prioritise all invoice and supplier queries, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved within agreed timeframes.
*Reconcile supplier statements and chase missing invoices, credit notes, or supporting documents.
*Ensure timely and compliant supplier payments, maintaining strong relationships through professional query handling and clear communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous purchase ledger experience (essential)
*Strong numerical ability and high level of attention to detail
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent organisational skills, with a methodical approach
*Creative approach to problem solving
