Transfers and Onboarding Analyst
6 Month FTC
Hybrid/West End
Salary circa £40,000 - £45,000
Role objectives
The role sits within Middle Office, supporting Front Office teams and the wider business by acting as a key link between client-facing functions, Operations, Compliance/KYC, and our external custody partners. The position focuses on client cash management, asset transfers, account onboarding, elemental data management, and input into management information. Working as part of a small team, the role ensures a smooth client journey by administering cash movements, processing transfers, coordinating account opening/closing, and maintaining accurate records across internal systems and third-party platforms
Key accountabilities
1.Treasury & Cash Management
- Submit custody withdrawals
- Post cash movements
- Assist with MI and procedures
- Support AML on high-risk cases
2. Asset Transfer & Transition Management
- Execute end-to-end asset transfers
- Build and maintain custodian relationships
- Liaise with product providers and Client Services
- Complete post-transition handovers
- Resolve discrepancies and improve processes
- Produce MI/metrics
3. Account Onboarding
- Submit cases and liaise with Custodians on account opening / client requirements
- Open portfolios on internal systems, including APX, UnaVista and Salesforce
- Track and progress all active cases on our Workflow system
- Attend weekly Active Case meetings with the Front Office and provide them updates on all cases.
- Assist in maintaining and updating team procedures.
- Assist in producing various MI for management.
- Periodical updating of client specific system data
- Work with the AML team on complex / high risk requests.
4. Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Comply with internal policies and regulation
- Maintain strong record-keeping
- Understand mandatory training requirements
- Support culture of risk management for both our clients and the enterprise
Background/experience and competencies required
- Treasury, Transfer or Account onboarding experience necessary
- Strong communication and writing
- High accuracy and data integrity
- Problem-solving and process improvement
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Understanding of AML/compliance
