Primary School Teacher – Year 5/6 Role | Long-Term Contract | £120–£200 per Day
The Education Specialists (TES) are partnering with primary schools in Birkenhead to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher for a long-term contract starting in April, with the possibility to extend. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Years 5 and 6.
*Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment where pupils can thrive.
*Plan, mark, and assess pupils’ work as required.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
*Collaborate with staff, parents, and carers to ensure pupil progress.
Who Can Apply:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
*Experience teaching upper KS2 (Years 5 and 6) in a primary school setting.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Positive, flexible attitude with a commitment to pupil development.
*Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
*Eligibility to work in the UK.
