Job Description:
Sales Account Manager
*£30,000 -£40,000 per annum
*Stratford Upon Avon
*Mon - Fri 9.00am - 5.00pm
Our client a leader in their field is now seeking a Sales Account Manager from a Product related sales background to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market
The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
*To develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customer’s regular requirements.
*Develop market categories & specifically new industries.
*Log, track and maintain outbound activity via Salesforce.
*Update customer information in our CRM & ERP.
*Maintain market & competitor knowledge.
*Maintain up to date product knowledge & competitor awareness which will enable you to offer alternative products when necessary
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience.
*B2B Sales, Account management or Internal Sales background.
*Product based sales background.
*Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
*Proficient in Office 365/Excel.
*Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
*Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.
