We’re looking for a commercially focused Senior Commercial Accountant to join an energetic Finance team for this exciting & striving Marketing Agency. Working closely with Client Services, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, strong financial control, and insightful commercial analysis to support decision-making. You will be part of a very supportive team that will encourage you to express your views and use your ideas.
*Revenue recognition and reporting in line with IFRS
*Reviewing month-end revenue documentation and preparing journals with full supporting evidence
*Month-end and year-end close, including journals and system alignment
*Weekly revenue meetings with Client Services to identify risks and opportunities
*Profitability, utilisation, realisation and revenue analysis, highlighting under/over servicing
*Monitoring WIP, billing, AR and working capital to ensure timely recovery
*Contract compliance & intercompany billing
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, audits & proposals and RFPs
*Supporting commercial finance projects for business growth
About you*Ideally CIMA or ACCA studier
*Strong understanding of IFRS 15
*P&L and balance sheet understanding
*Advanced Excel and strong systems experience
*Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident business partner with strong communication skills
