Job Description:
Bookkeeper, £30-35,000, Harrogate
Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper due to their established book-keeper relocating overseas . Working in a small team this is a busy and varied position, you will deal with the daily transactions within the business supporting the Partners and external Accountants. A comprehensive handover will be provided. If interested please apply as soon as convenient, the client is looking to conduct interviews week commencing 2nd February
Key Duties:
• General day to day bookkeeper
• Sales and purchase ledger
• Credit Control
• Checking payments and updating database
• Compiling information required for year end.
• Drafting budgets for Director’s approval
• Providing information required for Accountants.
• Dealing with accounts queries
Skills Required:
• Bookkeeping experience is essential
• AAT qualified advantageous (not essential)
• IT literate
• Excellent communication skills and well organised
• Ability to multitask.
• Able to work autonomously
In return you will be offered:
• Salary £30-35,000
• Central location easily accessible on public transport
• 25 days holiday including 8 bank holidays.
• Office hours 9-5.30pm with a one-hour lunch.
• Fully office-based role.
