Senior Recruitment Consultant – Permanent MarketsThe opportunity
Edmund & Evans are working closely with a well-known and highly respected recruitment business as they look to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant into their permanent team.
This is not a replacement hire or a volume-driven role. The business is investing in growth and is selectively adding experienced recruiters who can contribute commercially, win new clients, and build long-term markets.
The role suits someone who takes pride in their sales ability, values quality over volume, and wants to progress into a more senior or leadership position over time.

They work closely with clients in areas such as supply chain, logistics, automation, and retail technology, delivering senior and hard-to-find hires across the UK, EMEA, the US, and other international regions.
Much of the work is retained or exclusive, allowing consultants to operate in a genuinely consultative way. The business is known for strong client retention, repeat work, and developing recruiters into credible market specialists rather than generalists.
Growth has been measured and intentional, with a clear focus on long-term quality rather than short-term scale.
The roleThis is a sales-led permanent recruitment role with clear expectations around new business generation.
You will be responsible for:
*Winning new permanent recruitment assignments through targeted business development
*Developing and expanding existing client accounts
*Managing senior-level recruitment processes end to end
*Building deep market knowledge within a defined specialist area
*Working to clear quarterly targets around new business wins
*Taking ownership of revenue performance and desk growth
The role offers a high level of autonomy, with support from leadership and research functions where appropriate.
