Hours: Full-time, Permanent – Day Shift Only
Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking to join a friendly, independent engineering firm where your skills are valued? Our client, a well-established precision engineering company based in Leeds, is seeking a talented CNC Miller to join their close-knit team on a permanent basis.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the setting, operating, and milling of precision components to exact specifications. Working in a well-equipped workshop, you’ll produce high-quality parts for a range of industries and play an important role in maintaining the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
*Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
*Work from technical drawings and specifications
*Carry out first-off and in-process inspection to ensure quality standards are met
*Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and safe
*Collaborate effectively with other machinists and engineers
Skills & Experience Required
*Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
*Confident in setting and operating CNC milling machines
*Experience using Fanuc controls (ideal but not essential)
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*A flexible team player with a positive attitude, suited to a small, friendly company
